Meet The Inspector

Ever met the little boy who had to take things apart just to see how they worked? That was me growing up in Texas. I always had a natural curiosity for the unknown. I am fortunate to have found my calling in being a Professional Home Inspector. I get a chance every day to meet new people, investigate defects, educate, and identify to communicate what is, and what is not, a problem for my clients.
At age 20 I went into business for myself as a handyman. Within my first year a commercial contractor took me under his wing and I planted my roots in the construction industry. Being a general contractor, and property management company, in the past was a rewarding time in my life. I have learned so many things in my 26 years in the trades. In 1998 I moved to Colorado and continued in remodels and basement finishes. In 2004 I was introduced to my home inspection mentor, Mr. Ed Jones. He saw my potential and passion and what I had to offer this wonderful industry. Ed Jones is responsible for teaching me how to conduct a professional home inspection. With over 45 years in the building industry and 14.000+ home inspections performed, I could not have found a better mentor, or friend, than Ed Jones. I also chose to be professionally trained in the home inspection industry by attending Jones College. I remain a member of a local chapter RMNAHI and national chapter of NAHI (National Association of Home Inspectors).
This industry is constantly changing, and continuing education is something I feel strongly about.
I truly care about people. That asset alone is very important in this industry.
